Blood and Water
What is there not to like about a beautiful star swimmer (Fikele) in a private school who seems to have the life any teenager dreams about? The show follows a South African teenager (Puleng) who comes off as borderline obsessed with the star swimmer after their paths crossed at a party.
Interestingly she seems to believe the swimmer is her sister who was abducted at birth and makes it her life mission to uncover the truth causing a few strains on her already existing relationships along the way. Blood and Water is written and directed by Travis Taute, Dyrne Joshua and Noshipo Dumisa and stars Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema and Gail Mabalane.
