Worrying premonition hangs over Gayle King’s upcoming Blue Origin space trip

An astrologer has cautioned Gayle King against joining Blue Origin’s upcoming space mission, predicting a violent accident. The 70-year-old CBS Mornings co-host is set to fly alongside Lauren Sanchez, Katy Perry, and an all-women crew on Jeff Bezos’ rocket this spring.

Despite her fears, King agreed to the trip after consulting her children and best friend, Oprah Winfrey, as reported by Daily Mail.

“I don’t know how to explain being terrified and excited at the same time. It’s like how I felt about to deliver a baby,” King said.

“Once Kirby and Will and Oprah was fine with it, I was fine. I thought Oprah would say no, no. She said, ‘I think if you don’t do it, when they all come back and you had the opportunity to do it, you will be kicking yourself.’ She’s right.”

The Los Angeles-based astrologer issued a stark warning to King, claiming her horoscope suggests the Blue Origin space trip may not be in her favor. In a viral TikTok video, the astrologer urged the CBS News host to reconsider and stay home.

“Ms. King is headed to space, okay. She’s getting in a rocket mid-spring, I believe, I don’t know the exact date, so we’re going April 15 and her gut is telling her not to go, and I’m telling her not to go,” astrologer Ashley Sipes said.

“I’m not saying something terrible or tragic is going to happen, but this just doesn’t feel right to me.”

Astrologer Sipes analyzed King’s transit chart for April 15 and warned that the alignments of the planet suggest potential danger for her Blue Origin space trip.

“She’ll have transit Uranus squared her natal Pluto. This is a very slow moving transit, and on its own doesn’t really concern me much. I would say division of a business partnership of some kind, but then we have Jupiter squaring Mars, and Mars is in her second house, it’s at 17 degrees,” Sipes said.

“That is in the sign of Pisces – 17 degrees of Pisces warns of accidents and violence in travel. Jupitar, transit Jupitar, is activating this placement.

“Not trying to be negative or fearmonger, I think it’s great if this is what she wants, but in the video she’s clearly upset, and that in combination makes me extremely distraught as well.”

King will join Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn on Blue Origin’s 11th human spaceflight this spring.

While the trip is billed as the first all-female space mission, critics have slammed King for accepting the $300,000 free trip from Bezos, a known Trump supporter. Some argue the mission is a distraction from ethical concerns surrounding the venture.

Former CNN media analyst Oliver Darcy questioned King’s acceptance of a free Blue Origin space trip, calling it a potential conflict of interest under CBS News’ strict policies.

In his newsletter, Darcy wondered who approved the decision and why. Meanwhile, criticism on BlueSky has also grown, with many accusing King of cozying up to Bezos.
