Shaquille O’Neal is known as the staggering Olympian and NBA all-star player who is now retired and able to rest on the laurels due to his hard work.

His booming voice is as prominent as his height but that has not always been the case.

O’Neal was so ashamed of his stuttering that he would prefer to “take the zero” when called on in class.

“I still stutter to this day, but now I’m more cool with it now,” O’Neal said in 2017 according to Black Doctor.

He copes with it by slowing down his speech when he feels the urge to stammer.
