“It go, right foot up, left foot slide, left foot up, right foot slide, basically, I’m saying either way, we ’bout to slide, ayy, can’t let this one slide!”
If you haven’t fully listened to Drake’s latest single, Toosie Slide, there are chances you’ve most definitely heard a snippet of its catchy chorus as it has gotten celebrities and other people enthusiastically taking part in a dance challenge since its release early this month.
The single debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and went viral on major social media platforms, including setting a TikTok record for the fastest music trend to hit a billion views.
Joining the viral challenge with some African spice and breathtaking choreography is Uganda’s Masaka Kids. The talented children are a group of orphaned kids melting “the hearts of audiences with their charming smiles and delightful African tunes, accompanied by vibrant dance moves.”
The beautiful video, which was shared on social media and went viral, was later reshared by the Canadian musician himself on his Instagram Story with heart emojis, expressing his approval.
