It’s that time of year again, are you ready? I’m referring to New York Fashion Week (NYFW). I’ve been working and creating looks for different runways for the past several years, and each year, it gets more interesting creating beauty-forward looks that are timeless, easy to recreate, and help tell a story of the collection. As we approach this upcoming NYFW for the fall 2015 collection, I am very excited to see the looks I put together come to life on the runway. Here’s a sneak peak and some tips to recreate some of the looks I created for this year NYFW.

Make-Up
Metallics are still a timeless look for the runway; it adds texture and can be played up well with a soft lip color for an everyday look. There are no rules with what metallic color will work on your complexion. Find a color that you like and then start off with a little and build it up until you reach your desired look.
Recently, I was happy to put to use a Christmas gift that I received: a Bobbi Brown eye shadow palette filled with metallic colors that are easy to transition from day to night – big shout out to my sisters Daria & Kelli for getting me this gift!
Lashes
Ok, I admit I love everything that will beautify one’s look, but there’s nothing like lashes that help you feel elegant and sexy! There’s nothing like natural or minimal makeup with lashes.
It’s big statement!
My team uses lots of lashes with different lengths along with my favorite adhesive duo.
Hair
Whether you’re going out to a wedding or going on a second date, this romantic look (pictured) is a new twist on a half-up hairstyle: With a deep side part, loose waves, and thin pieces pulled back around the middle of the head, you will be stylishly ready for whatever comes your way!
I hope these looks help you when you’re ready to create your runway look! I love trying and experiencing new products, if you have a product that you’d like for me to try and review or if you have a question, please send me a beauty note at rj@renardajoynyc.com.
Until next time, stay beautiful!
