A Tennessee woman has found herself locked up again after she allegedly shot a 12-year-old boy just a day after she was released on bond. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said the 12-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg after Latroya Lemons opened fire into a crowd of people on May 11, FOX13 reported.

Court documents stated that the shooting occurred just a day after the 35-year-old suspect was released on bond. Lemons was arrested earlier in the week for allegedly threatening to take the life of her ex-boyfriend, New York Post reported. She had been charged with harassment in connection with that incident.

Authorities said the 12-year-old boy was playing at a Memphis home when Lemons pulled up in a car and fired five shots in that direction. The suspect’s ex-boyfriend was said to be at the scene of the incident.

Following the shooting, Lemons was named as a person of interest, and a warrant for her arrest was shortly issued. She was arrested on Tuesday on a slew of charges including six counts of aggravated assault, six counts of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, and four counts of violating bail conditions.

Lemons’ bond has been set at $500,000, FOX13 reported.
