Nigeria has been drawing big international business in recent months—first MAC Cosmetics and now fashion giant Hugo Boss. In a lavish launch party at Palms Mall in Lekki, Nigeria, the flagship store opened on Friday, February 1st.
The Moet and Chandon supported launch drew some of Nigeria’s top business moguls, executives and most fashionable guests including Reginald Ihejiahi, Managing Director of Fidelity Bank who officiated the event by cutting the ribbon. Other special guests included supermodel, Oluchi Orlandi and actor, Gideon Okeke.
Hugo Boss is a German luxury fashion and style house that provides men and womenswear under the core brands Boss Orange and Boss Green, which is available in 124 countries. Boss Orange targets men and women that love vintage and retro styles with a bohemian edge, while Boss Green is for the sporty types that love color. The company’s other brand, Boss Black is classically modern for both men and women.
With Nigeria’s population of 166.6 million and its economic bosst, it makes perfect sense as to why more companies has gained interest. We can’t wait to see who will be the next major company to open in Nigeria.
How do you think more international brands coming into Africa will benefit Africans?
