At least 100 people are feared dead in a military plane crash in Algeria on Wednesday, local media said.
According to local news website TSA, 105 people have so far been killed, as ambulances had arrived at the scene and the injured were being transferred to hospital.
The unfortunate incident happened at the Boufarik military airport, an air force base near the capital, Algiers.
Smoke has also been seen coming from the wreckage.
Meanwhile, news site BBC reports that the head of the army has directed an investigation into the crash and will visit the scene.
