Rose Francine (President of Gabon)

Rose Francine Rogombé was the Acting President of Gabon for about five months, from June 2009 to October 2009, following the demise of President Omar Bongo. Before this role, she was the Senate President, which made her eligible to take over as the President of the country.

She later returned to her senate position after the election of a new president. Her brief presidential reign made her the first female President to ever assume the position of Head of State in Gabon.
