Marc-Vivien Foe

Vivien Foe was a professional footballer who played as a midfielder for the Cameroonian national football team. He was successful playing in the French Ligue 1 for Lyon and in the premier league for Manchester City.

Marc was instrumental for club and country until his sudden demise in 2003 in the semi-finals of a FIFA Confederations Cup game against Colombia.

He collapsed in the 72nd minute of that fixture and although medics spent about 45 mins treating him, he died shortly after he was taken to the hospital.
