Alicia Keys

Voted the most charitable celebrity in 2010, singer Alicia Keys has done a lot of good through her charity organization, Keep A Child Alive. Founded in 2003 with activist Leigh Blake, the charity supports grassroots organizations in Africa with an aim to address epidemics, including HIV/AIDS.

At the 12th annual Black Ball, Keep A Child Alive raised $3.8 million dollars to focus on getting affordable AIDS medication to the needy population and actively educating them on prevention throughout the continent. It serves 70, 000 people annually across the continent.
