International day for Charity is a day set aside on September 5 every year to demonstrate to the world the importance of charity.
Officially declared by the UN General Assembly in 2012, this day identifies with the strength of individuals around the globe who work tirelessly for people who are in need to overcome poverty, distress, and other challenges, mostly in the poorest parts of the world.
