The hip-hop icon is extremely hush-hush when it comes to the details of his life so it should come as no surprise that many of his charitable donations are not widely publicized.

Nevertheless, in 2008, the rapper performed at the Africa Rising Music Festival; proceeds went to Africa Rising. The organization aims to preserve “African social, political, and economic progress.”

He has also given thousands of dollars worth of donations to the Made in Africa Foundation and the Global Citizen Project.
