The relationship between Dwayne and Gabrielle has been under close scrutiny mainly because Gabrielle is older than Dwayne and many expected the relationship to go down the drain after a few months of romance. She has also spoken about her issues with being judgemental and impatient, traits she never knew she had before getting married. Dwayne himself has also pointed out the many issues of having always to defend his relationship with Gabrielle especially before they got married and making Gabrielle the mother and lady of the house for his kids from other relationships. The couple recently welcomed their first child together through a surrogate.
