If you are trying to lose weight, then having enough sleep should be key. Studies have proved people with short sleep duration tend to weigh significantly more than those who get adequate sleep. Thus forget about going on a diet. Just plan an earlier bedtime. Poor sleep also affects hormones that regulate appetite. People who get adequate sleep tend to eat fewer calories than those who don’t.
