Brown Brothers Harriman
Brown Brothers Harriman is the oldest and one of the largest private banks in the U.S.
Created in 1818, BBH now has a revenue of $1.3 billion and has $5.6 trillion of assets in its custody.
USA Today claims that BBH owned hundreds of slaves and assisted the cotton business by lending millions of dollars to southern planters, traders and brokers as explained by The Atlanta Black Star.
To add insult to injury, the company has also assisted Fritz Thyssen in financing Adolf Hitler.
