Tolweynaha Hantiwadaagga Ah by Waaberi

This song was released on the back of the coup D’état of 1969 that installed in power General Siad Barre and brought an end to the process of party-based constitutional democracy in Somalia. Waaberi was Somalia’s foremost musical group that had popular artists who later achieved successful individual careers and shaped the face of Somali music. In its early days, the band toured several countries in Africa, including Egypt and Sudan.

They also performed in the People’s Republic of China.
