Place du Souvenir Africain (Africa Monument)

If you are in search of a place that exhibits many of Africa’s history in one space, then a visit to the Place of Remembrance is a celebration of a great African past.

There is a whole avenue exhibiting Africa’s most influential figures like Nelson Mandela to Ousmane Sembène.

It showcases Senegal’s intricate past, present and future as well as the indelible mark Africa has left on the world, this is how the African monument captures the rich history of the continent.
