With world-class films straight out of Nigeria, South Africa and Tanzania, the African film industry is set to redefine the world’s perception of Africa.
Nollywood, the largest African movie industry with roots in Nigeria, is currently estimated to be worth over US$ 800 million and the third-largest movie industry in the world after Hollywood and Bollywood. Film industries in South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya and other African countries are also developing rapidly, producing amazing films almost on a daily basis.
