Born in Somalia, 41-year-old Hussein Mohamed Bisad is the tallest man in Somalia and also one of the tallest in the world. Being 7 feet 8.5 inches tall, in 2002, Bisad spoke optimistically about earning a distinction in the book of “Guinness World Records.” “I’m still growing and getting taller every year,” he boasted in an interview with a local newspaper that was documented by the BBC.
