KTLA on Twitter: "Former Harlem Globetrotter, Rico Omarr Harris, disappears while driving Alhambra to Seattle http://t.co/V3XA7t7pii http://t.co/DvT9GUgRHE"

Rico Omarr Harris

He was well known as a professional basketball player and a standout in high school who even had the opportunity to play with the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters for a short time. A native of LA, California, he left Harlem Globetrotters after injuries that he suffered from an assault in 2000. Away from basketball, he turned to alcoholism and drugs and got in trouble with the law on several occasions. In 2014, he left his mom’s LA house to drive to Seattle and stay with his girlfriend in order to get his life back on track. His car was later found abandoned outside Sacramento, with Harris nowhere to be found to date.
