Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King

After they met in 1976, the pair can be tagged as the longest BFFs. Their friendship began while Oprah was working at a Baltimore TV station as a news anchor and Gayle King as a production assistant. 40 years down the line, their friendship has survived the horrors of the industry including rumours, spats and scandals.
