Robert Barisford “Bobby” Brown Jr., the son of R&B icon and singer Bobby Brown, has died at the age of 28. According to TMZ, he was found dead on Wednesday in his home in the L.A. area. No foul play has been detected by the police, a close family source reveals.

Brown Jr. is one of Brown’s seven children and the half-brother of Bobbi Kristina Brown who died in 2015. His mother is Kim Ward, and he was born on November 26, 1992.

Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Jeff Lee said officers were responding to a medical emergency when they found Brown Jr.’s body at a home in Encino, L.A., around 1 pm. Lee confirmed there was a person down at the location upon arrival, the LA Times reported.

Brown’s agent, Nick Szatmari, has told CNN he has “no comment” regarding the death of the son of his client.

Fans are sad for the pain the Brown family has had to endure over the years. From the death of Whitney Houston in February 2012 to Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death, the family has been through a lot.

Kristina’s father wanted to pin the death on her boyfriend Nick Gordon, who was later found liable in a civil case for her death.

In January this year, Gordon died from heroin toxicity, according to a toxicity report.

People shared their condolences on Twitter when the news about Brown Jr.’s death surfaced.
