Ashlee M. Davis and Tianna Williams have been great friends for more than twenty years and have supported each other’s accomplishments. They recently celebrated achieving yet another significant feat: their graduation from American University Washington College of Law.
According to Black News, Davis graduated with honors, and Williams obtained her J.D. The two commemorated the momentous day with a photo shoot in their doctoral gowns, which they posted on social media and received over 200,000 likes.
They included a sentimental throwback photo from 2002 with the more current photos, signifying their unwavering friendship and their shared experience through law school.
Davis captioned their Instagram post, “What’s better than one lawyer? TWO. My sister since 2002. We made it.”
Williams in turn wrote in her LinkedIn post, “Growing up together, we shared dreams, challenges, and countless memories. To now stand side by side, having accomplished one of our biggest goals, is a testament to our dedication, hard work, and the unwavering support we’ve given each other.”
“This milestone is not just a personal achievement, but a shared victory that reminds us of the power of friendship and the importance of community,” she added.
