In August 2015, Mbuso Mandela – the grandson of Nelson Mandela was charged and arrested for the rape of a 15-year-old girl.
In 2017, he was remanded to court again for non-payment of child support for his daughter.
The former case was withdrawn while the paternity case is still pending.
