Mohamed Toure
In April 2018, Mohamed Toure, the son of Guinea’s former president Sekou Toure was arrested for enslavement and forced labor.
Toure was accused of arranging the unaccompanied travel of a woman from Guinea to Texas.
The unidentified woman was forced to cook, clean, do laundry, perform yard work and care for Toure’s children without pay.
He is facing 20 years of imprisonment.
