Andrew Banda
In 2013, Andrew Banda, the son of Zambia’s former leader Rupiah Banda was arrested for defamation of character.
Banda was accused of defaming his father’s successor, Michael Sata.
Since 2011, Banda has been hit with a barrage of criminal charges which he explains as being politically motivated.
In 2015 Banda was sentenced to jail over soliciting ill-gotten government funds.
