Rapper DDG is making serious allegations against his ex, Halle Bailey, claiming she is preventing him from seeing their son, Halo.
The artist, born Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., recently spoke out against the Little Mermaid star, accusing her of keeping him away from their child.
DDG first aired his frustrations on Friday, posting on X that he had been “fighting to see my son for months,” expressing solidarity with fathers in similar situations.
Though he later deleted the post, the rapper took to a livestream, explaining that he had tried to handle the matter privately but was now too frustrated to stay silent.
“I really feel like I’m a f***ing nanny at this point. The nanny has been able to have my son more than me. And I don’t even know the nanny name. Like, it’s just not fair bro. So I have to come on here and I gotta do this s***,” DDG told viewers.
DDG hinted at taking legal action, saying he’s been keeping track of how long he’s gone without seeing his son. He has since released a new song “Don’t Take My Son,” in which he vents about his situation.
“Don’t take my son because he’s all I got/I’m just having fun, I don’t love these thots” he says in the chorus. The song’s beat is produced by New York musician Cash Cobain.
Essentially, DDG is accusing Bailey of using co-parenting as leverage when they aren’t on good terms. Despite their split in October, the former couple came together to celebrate Halo’s first birthday in December.
