‘Don’t play with me’ – Cardi B responds to Offset after he accuses her of cheating

Cardi B, on Monday, took to social media to hit back at cheating claims that her husband, Offset, leveled against her the previous day. According to PEOPLE, the Migos rapper had accused his 30-year-old wife of infidelity in an Instagram story post that has since been deleted.

“My wife f—ed a N—- on me gang yall n—- know how I come,” Offset, 31, claimed in the post. However, the Bodak Yellow rapper responded to the allegations in a Twitter Space conversation, making it clear that wasn’t the case.

She, however, jokingly sang a lyric from Keyshia Cole’s “I Should Have Cheated” song before addressing her husband’s allegations. “First of all, let me say, you can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of. Sing it with me, y’all! And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!” 

“Listen, don’t pay attention to that countryman,” she said in reference to her husband. “That motherf—er spiraling and thinking s—.”

She added: “Come on, y’all. I’m f—ing Cardi B n—. I think sometimes motherf—ers forget I’m Cardi B. If I was giving this p—- to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody.”

“Can’t f— no regular degular shmegular ’cause they gonna tell the world,” explained Cardi. “And I can’t f— nobody in the industry ’cause they gonna tell too.”

“Please boy, stop acting stupid. Stop acting stupid,” she appeared to tell Offset. “Going crazy over a f—ing Space. Don’t play with me. What the f—. Stop playing. That’s all I’m gonna motherf—ing say.”

“Get the f— out of here, n—-. Like, you can’t be serious,” she added. “Don’t play, motherf—er. Got me looking f—ing crazy and s— for no reason. Anyways, I’m out. Y’all know what it is.”

The two award-winning rappers started dating in February 2017 before secretly marrying in September of the same year. This recent incident also adds up to other cheating allegations involving the couple.

In 2018, Offset made the news after videos of him in bed with several women were circulated. Cardi B also filed for divorce in September 2020 over allegations of her husband cheating on her. The couple, however, later patched things up and called off their divorce. 

“Everybody has issues,” Cardi B told Vogue in 2020 about her reason behind calling off their divorce. “I believe in forgiveness. I prayed on it. Me and my husband, we prayed on it. We had priests come to us. And we just came to an understanding like, bro, it’s really us against the world.”

“He has my back for everything, I have his back for everything, so when you cheat, you’re betraying the person that has your back the most,” she added. “Why would you do that? We have come to a clear understanding. For me, monogamy is the only way. I’ll beat your ass if you cheat on me.”
