Dr Olurotimi Badero
Born in Lagos, Nigeria and currently living in the U.S., Badero holds 6 different certifications in the six different specialities in medicine. He led the team which performed the world’s first successful kidney transplant. He is the first person in the world to become a cardiology and nephrology (Heart and Kidney) specialist.
Recognised in the U.S for an outstanding medical career and service to humanity, he is the first cardiologist to perform trans-radical cardiac catheterization and percutaneous coronary angioplasty at Central Mississippi Medical Center in 2011.
