Tupac

At a young age of 25, Tupac was a very influential artiste in hip hop. He was shot in 1996 from gunshot wounds. He did not have a will. He also had no children nor wife because he was divorced after a brief marriage to Keisha Morris. The young rapper’s mother managed his estates until 2016 when she also died. Before her death, she spearheaded the legal campaign to regain ownership of his recordings. After her death, the rapper’s estate pursued the case and won in 2018.

It is said that Tupac owed money to his record label before he died because he signed a three-album deal in return for bail money. Now the estates are managed by the record labels he worked with.

Tupac’s estate is estimated to be worth around $40million (£31.8million) as of 2019. The label is also preparing to release a succession of posthumous album sales, which entails six studio albums and one compilation album.
