Edgar Davids
Famous for his dreadlocks, Davids was the most recognizable talent in his generation. Born in Suriname’s capital city, Paramaribo, he moved to the Netherlands as an infant with his family for a better life.
His love for football began after he joined the Ajax footballer academy. He grew in strength and his quality became undebatable. His talents earned him a place with the main team of Ajax where he enjoyed several domestic and international titles.
He also played for Milan, Juventus, Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Due to his aggressive style and marking ability, he was nicknamed, “The Pitbull”.
