NFL star Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union have had the quite the journey leading up to their marriage. Wade is nine years younger than Union, was in the middle of a messy divorce when the pair met and Wade fathered a child with an old friend before he and Union wed. Even after they tied the knot, they faced challenges – several miscarriages. Nonetheless, the couple is going strong. Wade explained in 2013 why the two married despite the odds, “At the end of the day, we came back together and said, ‘Listen, we want to continue this. We want to continue to get better each day,” “She’s been with me and I’ve been with her all summer long. We’re going strong now.”
