Ga Connection proudly presents the 2nd Anniversary Fundraising Gala in support of Raising Sickle Cell & Mental Health Awareness. This Black Tie event will take place on Friday December 11, 2015 from 7:00PM-12:00AM at Milan Banquet at 32 Passaic Street, Garfield, New Jersey.

Sickle Cell and Mental Health can affect people of any race, religion, income and gender. 1 in every 10 Americans have the Sickle Cell Trait and 1 in 500 has Sickle Cell. Mental Health is a condition that disrupts a person’s thinking, feeling, mood and the ability to relate to others and their daily functions. 1 in 5 adults experience Mental health issues. 1 in 10 young people experience a period of major depression. Comprehensive care and therapies are imperative for individuals with Sickle Cell and Mental Health.

Join us as we celebrate, honor and raise funds for Sickle Cell & Mental Health Awareness. Many of us know at least one person who is affected by one of the above diseases. Ga Connection (GC) is a nonprofit organization established in December 2013 with mission to promote social and cultural education and foster leadership skills and unity within local and global communities.
