Antibiotics do cure the new coronavirus

The WHO says emphatically that antibiotics do not work against viruses of any kind, but they can work against bacteria only.

COVID-19 is a virus and as such antibiotics cannot be used to treat or prevent anyone from catching the virus.

Nonetheless, when on admission for the new coronavirus, the doctors may administer some antibiotics because there can be a bacterial co-infection as well.
