Authorities in Georgia have brought criminal charges against a Gwinnett County mother who allegedly attacked another woman at a Walmart store. Per FOX 5 Atlanta, the October 26 incident occurred after the victim told Brittany George to leave the store as her children were being too loud, police said.

George allegedly threw a bottle that struck the victim’s son before she punched her face, the arrest report stated. George later made her way out of the store after employees intervened and stopped the fight.

George was arrested the next day after police ultimately located her. She has since been charged with felony child cruelty and simple assault.

Matt Johnson, who joined Channel 2 Action News in June 2015 as a general assignment reporter before becoming Gwinnett County Bureau Chief, said shoppers he spoke with said they avoid complaining about kids of other shoppers because it is a very dangerous thing to do.

“I just avoid it because people crazy these days,” one shopper said. “It depends on how unruly (they are and) if they were hurting anybody.”

Johnson was also at George’s house, but she refused to give her side of the story.
