Djinguereber Mosque

This mosque constructed in 1935 is made of mud and straw. The Djinguereber Mosque is in Timbuktu, Mali and its unique design has timber sticking out of the mud walls. The structure is kept intact because it is constantly sun baked by the desert sun and the heat from the sun keeps it dry and intact.
