Harare International Festival of the Arts

The 6-day annual festival that takes place in Zimbabwe is about arts. Since its inception in 1999, it has grown to become one of the most widely acclaimed festivals on the continent. It showcases the best of local, regional and international arts and culture with programmes including theatre, music, dance, circus, street performance, fashion, spoken word and visual arts. The festival is a highly diversified platform that welcomes people from different races, religions, socio-political backgrounds etc.
