The East African powerhouse has for two consecutive years maintained its position as Africa’s fastest-growing economy. Indeed, this is in line with a decade long growth that has sometimes reached 10%.
Ethiopia’s economy is chiefly dependent on mining, manufacturing, tourism, and agriculture. There are plans to open up the country to the input from the digital economy.
With over 109 million people and fairly stable democracy, Ethiopia is primed to continue its good story.
