Benin

Benin’s democracy is a relatively stable one on a continent where not many can say the same. This has partially contributed to year-on-year growth of over 6.6%.

Though a very small country, Benin is playing to its strengths. Agriculture and cotton production have served the West Africans well with tourism not far behind.

The country has plans to build a hydroelectric powerplant with neighboring Togo. This will cut the dependence on Ghana for electricity and liberate new horizons for Benin.
