Senegal

Senegal has come out of the reforms in the 1990s a better country. Thanks to programs put in place at the beginning of the decade, Senegal has seen continuous growth coming around 6%.

The country has tried to expand its manufacturing sector as well as agriculture. While tourism has been a consistent foreign exchange earner, the government is looking to make Senegal a viable digital economy.

All of this is well and good preparation for oil production from 2022. Much of the investment in infrastructure is being done with this in mind.
