Here we go again, another white person referring to a black person as ‘monkey’

Just last month, BET confirmed that Former Aurora Police Lt. Charles DeShazer commented, “We got the Alabama porch monkeys all contained,” which was captured by body cam footage. DeShazer was referring to a crowd of black people who gathered near the scene of a shooting on June 18, 2017.

DeShazer lost his position but was later re-hired amidst a demotion to Sergeant.
