Amid swirling speculation that Rihanna might be expecting again, A$AP Rocky put the rumors to rest with a confirmation Monday night.
Rumors about a possible third baby for the superstar couple picked up early in the day. By the time the Met Gala wrapped, Rocky had addressed the buzz head-on.
“It feels amazing, you know,” gala co-chair A$AP Rocky told reporters who congratulated him Monday after outlets reported the couple was expecting their third child. “It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy, you know.”

Photos snapped of Rihanna that morning as she strolled through New York seemed to support the story — her visible bump hinting at the announcement to come.
Later that evening, she stepped onto the Met Gala carpet in a dramatic pinstripe ensemble topped with an oversized hat, her baby bump proudly displayed for the cameras.
“Honestly, it’s a blessing nonetheless,” Rocky told the AP. “Because you know how like some people in other situations at times can be envious of other people. But we’ve been seeing love for the most part. And we real receptive to that and appreciate that, you know what I mean? That’s love. Love is love.”
The pair has a habit of revealing their big family news on grand stages. Rihanna unveiled her second pregnancy during the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, performing with her bump clearly visible. Their son Riot Rose arrived later that year.
Their first child, RZA, was born in May 2022, marking the beginning of their journey as parents.

Rocky’s appearance at the 2025 Met Gala held extra weight this year — not only as co-chair of the menswear-themed event tied to the museum’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” but also because his attendance hadn’t always been guaranteed. Just months earlier, he had been preparing for trial in Los Angeles on firearms charges.
That case concluded in February with a not guilty verdict. Throughout the proceedings, Rocky drew attention for his sharply curated courtroom wardrobe — tailored suits and luxe fashion houses dominated his looks. Saint Laurent, in particular, capitalized on the moment, issuing press releases that highlighted his polished trial ensembles. He wore a pinstripe Saint Laurent suit the day the verdict was read.
A fashion tastemaker in his own right, Rocky has partnered with top designers on collaborations ranging from footwear to eyewear and apparel. In December, he was recognized with the Cultural Innovator Award by the British Fashion Council at its annual Fashion Awards.
