Point guard Kiyomi McMiller has signed a name, image, and likeness (NIL) deal with Jordan, making her the first high school athlete to join the brand. The Silver Spring, MD–born student-athlete follows UCLA Bruins guard Kiki Rice, who was Jordan’s first NIL athlete after signing with the company in October 2022, according to ESPN.
“I’m inspired by both of my parents. I get my creativity from my dad and my grandmother, which carries over to my dribbling,” said McMiller, a five-star Class of 2024 point guard, in a statement. “I’m always in the gym with my mom and dad working on my game.”
McMiller said it’s a dream come true being with the brand that stands for the same passion that she has for basketball. She said she looks forward to encouraging basketball players to use their creativity and platform to define their purpose.

McMiller plays for Life Center Academy in Burlington, New Jersey, and is ranked No. 6 overall in ESPN’s 2024 player rankings. She is yet to name where she will play college basketball.
Born into a basketball family, McMiller’s parents, Mike and Ravilia, were coaching at Montgomery College when she began showing interest in basketball at a young age. While in her parents’ practices, she would be mimicking what the players were doing. Soon, she started training, and thanks to sessions with her parents, she got really creative.
Today, McMiller is opening doors for the next generation of athletes.
