Solomon Carter Fuller

He was the first African-American psychiatrist in the United States after earning his medical degree in 1897 from Boston University. In 1904, he researched degenerative brain disorders with Dr. Alois Alzheimer. Through that, he became an authority on Alzheimer’s Disease research. Fuller published the first comprehensive review of Alzheimer’s cases in 1912.
