Lil Nas X has explained to fans why he has been hospitalized in a health update on social media as he shared a photo of his face which looked partially paralyzed on Monday.
The 26-year-old rapper was wearing a hospital gown and a Von Dutch baseball cap as he released a video from his bed explaining the situation.
Lil Nas X was seemingly positive in the video as he laughed and revealed that he ‘lost control’ of the right side of his face.
Though he tried to laugh, the right side of his face stayed frozen, but he was still able to move the right side of his lips and eye.
Detailing how it all happened, the music star said: ‘This is me doing a full smile right now by the way. It’s like, what the f***? Bro, I can’t even laugh right now, bro. What the f***? Ah! Oh my God!’
Some hours after he posted the video, Lil Nas X showed both sides of his face and said: ‘We normal over here. We get crazy over here.’
He added: ‘I’m so cooked’, ” which indicated that he was feeling extremely exhausted, or struggling with a task or situation.

In another post, the rapper told his fans to be calm and that he is ‘OK’, asking them not to worry about him. ‘Guys I am OK!! Stop being sad for me! Shake Ur a** for me instead! (sic)’, he said.
He then shared a selfie taken in the hospital with his fans and captioned the photo: ‘Imma look funny for a lil but but that’s it. (sic)’. Lil Nas has yet to reveal the cause of the partial paralysis.
Reports indicate that partial facial paralysis can stem from several conditions affecting the facial nerve or brain areas controlling facial movement.
Lil Nas X got into the limelight after the 2019 release of his hit Old Town Road, a genre-blending song that mixed country and trap elements.
