Meet the 9 African players drafted by the NBA this year

Bol Bol (Sudan)
The son of former Sudanese NBA player Manute Bol, 7′ 2″ Bol Bol was selected by the Miami Heat with the No. 44 overall pick in the second round. He was, however, traded to the Denver Nuggets afterwards.

“I’ve been dreaming this for my whole life and it feels pretty good,” Bol said on ESPN after he selected, according to The Oregonian. “I want to prove everyone wrong and come out and be the best that I can be.”
