The world has its first artificial intelligence human-like robot CEO courtesy of Dictador. The robot, named Mika, is a woman and will be the official face of Dictador, the world’s most forward-looking luxury rum producer.
Dictador makes rum and coffee in Colombia and also offers Dominican cigars. What is more, the firm sees itself as the leader and the next generation collectible, taking pride in being a brand that “invites a rebellious mindset” to change the world for the better.
The move by the company seeks to consolidate its position as one of the most advanced and thought-leading organizations globally. “It underlines the brand’s passion for new technology and offers a positive disruption by bringing the future to what can still be a very traditional world,” the company noted on its website.

Mika is an advanced version of her sister prototype, Sophia, “activated” in 2015 in Hong Kong by Hanson Robotics Ltd. According to Dictador, the robot CEO will be a board member, responsible for Arthouse Spirits DAO project and communication with the DAO community, on Dictador’s behalf.
Her official career as CEO started on September 1, 2022, and today, she continues to serve in her position as the world’s first-ever AI CEO robot. “With advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, I can swiftly and accurately make data-driven,” Mika said in a Dictador company video.
“What impresses me most is that Dictador’s vision of impacting the future has no limits of imagination and value creation,” said Daniel Langer, professor of luxury strategy at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, and chief executive of the Équité.
