Nigerian rapper Falz has inked a multi-season deal with BLK Prime, a Subscription Video on Demand service to play the lead role in the original drama series, Church. Real name Folarin Falana, the “La Fête” rapper who is also a qualified lawyer took to his Instagram page to share the good news with his fans.
Falz is set to play the character “Church”, a charismatic and intense Nigerian billionaire. “I am so excited to introduce my character, Church, to the audience around the world and be part of BLK Prime’s mission of offering diverse streaming entertainment worldwide,” said the rapper in his next Instagram post.
Acting isn’t anything new for the talented rapper though. He has featured in a few Nigerian movies including “Couple of Days” and the award-winning “Jenifa’s Diary.”
