On Sunday April 17th, 2011, citizens of Nigeria decided to keep incumbent, president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in office, a plus in the interest of continuity. Right from the start there where only 4 major players in the game and as soon as Saturday progressed, it clearly became a 2 man show- Buhari and Jonathan.

Now following the recent broadcast announcing victory to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Violence has escalated in Northern-Nigeria as a result sparking tribal and religious clashes in that region.

From our news desk at Face2Face Africa our hearts go out to anyone who is affected by this unfortunate situation. Nigeria and indeed, Africa, deserve better.
